In recognition of outstanding service and professionalism within the insurance industry, Jackie Honomichl was honored as the 2008 Missouri CSR of the Year in Missouri by the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research and was presented with the award at the Small Agency Conference on March, 26, 2009 in Columbia, Missouri. To qualify for this award, Jackie submitted a winning essay on the topic, "What are the four most important challenges in developing accounts in a soft market?" Jackie is an Account Manager at Cretcher Heartland, and has been in the insurance industry since 1979. She has been with Cretcher Heartland since 2004. Outside of work Jackie enjoys working in her yard and spending time with her grandson and playing volleyball.

Cretcher-Heartland Inc. was named Agency of the Year for 2008 by the Midwest regional office of United Fire Group. The prestigious Agency of the Year award is given annually by United Fire Group to the agency that has shown consistent and profitable growth for United Fire Group. Adam Gildemeister from Cretcher Heartland Inc. accepted the award during the United Club Luncheon in Cedar Rapids on March 12, 2009. Cretcher Heartland has been a member of United Fire Group's United Club for eight years and has been licensed to do business with them for 20 years.
